The Bible teaches that God is holy, and that we have sinned. Sin separates us from God and brings judgment. But God, in love, sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus died for our sins and rose again. Salvation is not earned; it is received by faith. God calls the sinner to come honestly, trust Christ, and be saved.
